Cloud Infrastructure and Services (CIS) - WebinarEMC
Between 2012 and 2020, the patch of the digital universe that CIOs and their IT staffs need to manage will become not just bigger but also more complex. The skills, experience, and resources to manage all these bits of data will become scarcer and more specialized, requiring a new, flexible, and scalable IT infrastructure that extends beyond the enterprise: cloud computing. By 2020, nearly 40% of the information in the digital universe will be "touched" by cloud computing providers - meaning that a byte. The Cloud Infrastructure and Services (CIS) session educates participants about cloud deployment and service models, cloud infrastructure, and the key considerations in migrating to cloud computing.
Enterprise applications and databases do not just help in running the business - they are your business. And every year, they grow in size and complexity, making them harder to manage. Uncontrolled data growth threatens application performance and service level agreements, increases maintenance costs, and exposes enterprises to legal liability for data privacy and security.

™
eComSystems Announces 2008 Marketing Initiative
2007 proved to be both challenging and exciting for American business. In spite of the economic climate, the number of Ace
stores reaping the benefits of the Ace AdStudio online marketing program continues to grow.
Experienced retailers are keenly aware that combating the negative effects of
the current economy, in addition to the usual challenges of business such as
increased competition, requires maintaining a positive attitude and an effective
marketing plan. The primary objective of this effort is attracting customers to
your store. Once there, customers should receive the type of excellent service,
selection and competitive pricing that will motivate them into making purchases
and return visits. Ace AdStudio provides you with a suite of tools to achieve these
goals.
By the effective utilization of the variety of circulars, on-demand flyers, signage
and other marketing materials offered through Ace AdStudio, you will attract more
business through customized ads that effectively target your desired customer
base and highlight selected products:
• Monthly or biweekly circulars can provide tremendous product exposure
over a wide target area for a large assortment of Ace and non-Ace branded
products you wish to sell.
• On-demand flyers can quickly be created and printed locally in the exact
quantities needed, to serve as bag stuffers or accommodate a special
midweek or weekend sale or promotion.
• Newspaper ads of varying dimensions can be quickly created and sent to one
or more local newspapers for timely insertion to cover targeted areas of
circulation.
• Signage templates allow you to quickly produce, print and post signs of
varying sizes throughout your store, enhancing the promotion of special deals
and creating branding consistency and better direction for your customers.
To help you achieve future advertising objectives, Ace AdStudio has implemented an enhanced
marketing initiative for 2008. Highlights of this initiative, which took effect March 1st, include:
• Rewarding stores that print multiple consecutive circulars or sign-up multiple stores at once.
• A custom database image pricing structure that rewards stores for submitting print-ready images
or multiple images at the same time.
• A streamlined auto-renewal process, including an opt-out option.
• A new and more informative Registration Form (see page 5) containing updated pricing.
With competition for customer dollars at an all time high, now is the time to review your current
marketing efforts and prepare a well planned, comprehensive strategy. To discuss new ways of utilizing
the Ace AdStudio program to help support your marketing plans in 2008, contact me at your earliest
convenience.
I look forward to sharing the many enhancements planned for our program, including enhanced reporting capabilities, a greater
choice of templates, updated page layouts and a high level of excellent customer service.
In closing, I thank you for the opportunity to help grow your business in the past and assure you that Ace AdStudio
remains committed to supporting your future business efforts. 2008 promises to be an exciting year for all of us and we look
forward to our continued partnership with Ace Hardware Corporation and it’s retailers. q
