 Currently working as Engineer – Instrumentation and Control in 2 x 600 MW
Mutiara thermal power project, Coastal Energen Pvt ltd, Tuticorin, Tamilnadu (a coal
& oil group company).
 Responsible for Calibration and Erection of Field Instruments as per the process
requirement.
 Part of Commissioning team responsible for I&C activities in Control Room and Field
side involving team building and co-ordination with Intra / Inter Departments.
 Expertise in commissioning valves(MOV, SOV, Control valves) of make AUMA,
ROTORK, Fisher, Schneider Electric, TET–TIANLI, Bernard, Sipos, Raga, Numax,
Siemens, Flowserve with ABB positioners
 Continuous monitoring and preparing site protocols of instruments erection and
preparing cable schedules for the same as per scheduled plan
JOB PROFILE:
Erection & Commissioning:
 Responsible for Boiler & Turbine Instrumentation viz. Drum Instrumentation, Burner
Management System, Steam Leak Detection, Metal Temperature Measurement, and
Furnace Pressure & Temperature Measurement.
 Erection and commissioning of Field instruments of rotating equipments including
FD/ID/PA fans.

2.  Erection and commissioning of ABB Uvisor Flame scanners, Furnace Flame and Drum
CCTV systems in boiler.
 Erection and commissioning of Control valves and instruments in Fuel Oil system and
Coal Pulverizing System
 Profound knowledge on the Calibration of field instruments and Calibrators
(NAGMAN, DRUCK, FLUKE).
 Responsible for Erection and commissioning of Field instruments in Induced Draft
Cooling Tower
 Review of Basic Engineering and Detailed engineering documents for approval as per
Indian and ISA standards.
 Co-ordination and review with HARBIN POWER ENGINEERING, CHINA and NEPDI
to ensure BTG works get completed at time
Maintenance:
 Managing Shift activities and handling and solving problem analytically during crisis
and breakdowns.
 Servicing of all type of control Valves and MOV in all applications and Transmitters and
flow meters.
 Performing functions of trouble shooting, predictive and preventive analysis to reduce
break down and thereby increasing the plant availability.
 Planning Daily activities and resources (Men & Material) as per requirement with the
inventory level.
 Troubleshooting, analyze and modify if necessary, the issues responsible for failure of
plant instrumentation system and controls.
 Planning activities for yearly, monthly shutdown & breakdowns.
 Managing inventory cost over the spares and tools.
 Self Motivated and capable of leading a team of Engineers and Technicians to carry out
Preventive and Shutdown Maintenance.
