We live in Mallorca, Spain, the largest of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. Mallorca has a population of around 900,000 people, with over 400,000 living in the capital city of Palma. The official languages are Spanish and Catalan, and the economy relies heavily on tourism. Mallorca receives many tourists each year from Germany and Britain who come to enjoy the nice weather year-round, beaches, villages, mountains, and traditional Mallorcan food.
