മുെിലവറ്റിരുന്നുയവങ്കി ുിം ഒരാൾ തന്യെ ദുുഃഖിം
മയറ്റാരാലളാട് കാണിക്കാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.
11 അവരുയട കാമലമാഹിം യവളിയെടുത്താൻ
അവർ ജ്ജിച്ചു, അവളുമാെി ബന്ധിം
േു ർത്താൻ അവർ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
12 എന്നിട്ടുിം അവർ അവയള കാണാൻ ദിവസിം
ലതാെുിം ഉത്സാഹലത്തായട ലനാക്കിയക്കാണ്ടിരുന്നു.
13 ഒരുത്തൻ മലറ്റവലനാടു: നമുക്കു വീട്ടില ക്കു
ലോകാിം; ഇലൊൾ അത്താഴ സമെമാെിരിക്കുന്നു

14 അങ്ങയന അവർ ലോെലശഷ്ിം ഒന്നിയന
ലവർയേടുത്തി, േിയന്നെുിം തിരിഞ്ഞു അലത
സ്ഥ ത്തു എത്തി. അതിനുലശഷ്ിം അവർ
േരസ്്
േരിം കാരണിം ലോദിച്ചെിഞ്ഞു, അവർ
തങ്ങളുയട കാമയത്ത സമ്മതിച്ചു, അവയള
തനിച്ചാക്കാൻ അവർ രണ്ടുലേരുിം ഒരു സമെിം
നിശ്ചെിച്ചു.
15 അവർ തക്കസമെത്തു ലനാക്കിെലൊൾ അതു
വീണു, അവൾ മുമ്പയത്തലൊയ രണ്ടു
ലവ ക്കാരികലളാടുകൂയട അകത്തു യേന്നു,
ലതാട്ടത്തിൽ കഴുകുവാൻ അവൾ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു;
16: ഒളിച്ചുനിന്ന് അവയള നിരീക്ഷിച്ച രണ്ടു
മൂെന്മാരല്ലായത ഒരു മനുഷ്യനുിം അവിയട
ഉണ്ടാെിരുന്നില്ല.
17 േിയന്ന അവൾ തന്യെ ദാസിമാലരാടു: എനിക്കു
എണ്ണെുിം കഴുകുന്ന ഉരുളകളുിം യകാണ്ടുവരുവിൻ;
ഞാൻ എയന്ന കഴുലകണ്ടതിന്നു ലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ
വാതി ുകൾ അയടച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു േെഞ്ഞു.
18 അവൾ കല്പിച്ചതുലോയ അവർ യേയ്തു,
ലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ വാതി ുകൾ അടച്ചു, അവൾ
അവലരാടു കല്പിച്ചതു യകാണ്ടുവലരണ്ടതിന്നു
രഹസയവാതിൽക്കൽ യേന്നു; എന്നാൽ
മൂെന്മായര അവർ മെഞ്ഞിരിക്കൊൽ കണ്ടില്ല.
19 ദാസിമാർ ലോെലശഷ്ിം രണ്ടു മൂെന്മാർ
എഴുലന്നറ്റു അവളുയട അടുക്കൽ ഓടിയച്ചന്നു
േെഞ്ഞു:
20 ഇതാ, ആരുിം ഞങ്ങയള കാണാത്തവിധിം
േൂലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ വാതി ുകൾ
അടഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിയന്ന
സ്ലനഹിക്കുന്നു; ആകൊൽ ഞങ്ങയള സമ്മതിച്ചു
ഞങ്ങലളാടുകൂയട ശെിക്ക.
21 നിനക്കു മനസ്സിയല്ലങ്കിൽ ഒരു യേെുെക്കാരൻ
നിലന്നാടുകൂയട ഉണ്ടാെിരുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ
നിനക്കു വിലരാധമാെി സാക്ഷയിം േെെുിം;
22 അലൊൾ സൂസന്ന യനടുവീർെിട്ടു േെഞ്ഞു:
ഞാൻ എല്ലാ ഭാരത്തുിം യഞരുങ്ങിെിരിക്കുന്നു;
ഞാൻ ഈ കാരയിം യേയ്താൽ അത് എനിക്ക്
മരണമാണ്;
23 കർത്താവിന്യെ സന്നിധിെിൽ ോേിം
യേയ്യുന്നതിയനക്കാൾ, നിങ്ങളുയട കകകളിൽ
അകയെടുന്നതാണ് എനിക്ക് നല്ലത്.
24 അലതായട സൂസന്ന ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നി വിളിച്ചു;
രണ്ടു മൂെന്മാർ അവൾയക്കതിയര നി വിളിച്ചു.
25 അലൊൾ ഒരാൾ ഓടിയച്ചന്ന് ലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ

27 എന്നാൽ മൂെന്മാർ തങ്ങളുയട കാരയിം
അെിെിച്ചലൊൾ ദാസന്മാർ വളയര ജ്ജിച്ചു;
28 അടുത്ത ദിവസിം, അവളുയട ഭർത്താവാെ
ല ാവസിമിന്യെ അടുക്കൽ ആളുകൾ
കൂടിവന്നലൊൾ, സൂസന്നയെ യകാല്ലാൻ രണ്ടു
മൂെന്മാരുിം അവളുയട ലനയര വികൃതമാെ
ഭാവനെിൽ വന്നു;
29 ലൊവാകിമിന്യെ ഭാരയ യേൽസിെസിന്യെ
മകൾ സൂസന്നയെ ആളെെ്ക്കുക എന്നു
നത്തിന്യെ മുമ്പായക േെഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങയന അവർ

30 അങ്ങയന അവൾ അവളുയട അച്ഛലനാടുിം
അമ്മലൊടുിം മക്കലളാടുിം ബന്ധുക്കലളാടുിം കൂയട
വന്നു.
31 ഇലൊൾ സൂസന്ന വളയര ാളിതയമുള്ള ഒരു
സ്ഗ്തീൊെിരുന്നു, കാണാൻ സുന്ദരിൊെിരുന്നു.
32 ഈ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അവളുയട യസൌന്ദരയത്താൽ
നിെലെണ്ടതിന് (അവൾ മെഞ്ഞിരിക്കൊൽ)
അവളുയട മുഖിം അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
33 അതുയകാണ്ട് അവളുയട സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുിം
അവയള കണ്ടവയരല്ലാിം കരഞ്ഞു.
34 അലൊൾ രണ്ടു മൂെന്മാർ നത്തിന്യെ
നടുവിൽ നിന്നുയകാണ്ടു അവളുയട ത െിൽ
കകയവച്ചു.
35 അവൾ കരഞ്ഞുയകാണ്ടു സവർഗ്ഗത്തില ക്കു
ലനാക്കി; അവളുയട ഹൃദെിം കർത്താവിൽ
ആഗ്ശെിച്ചു.
3. 36 മൂെന്മാർ േെഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങൾ ഒറ്റെ്ക്ക്
േൂലതാട്ടത്തിൽ നടക്കുലമ്പാൾ ഈ സ്ഗ്തീ രണ്ട്
ദാസിമാരുമാെി അകത്തു വന്നു ലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ
വാതിൽ അടച്ച് ലവ ക്കായര േെഞ്ഞെച്ചു.
37 അലൊൾ അവിയട ഒളിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു
യേെുെക്കാരൻ അവളുയട അടുക്കൽ വന്നു
അവലളാടുകൂയട ശെിച്ചു.
38 ലതാട്ടത്തിന്യെ ഒരു ലകാണിൽ നിന്നിരുന്ന
ഞങ്ങൾ ഈ ദുഷ്ടത കണ്ട് അവരുയട അടുലത്തക്ക്
ഓടി.
39 അവയര ഒരുമിച്ചു കണ്ടലൊൾ ആ മനുഷ്യയന
ഞങ്ങൾക്കു േിടിക്കാനാെില്ല; അവൻ
നയമ്മക്കാൾ ശക്തനാെിരുന്നു; അവൻ വാതിൽ
തുെന്നു േുെലത്തക്കു ോടി.
40 എന്നാൽ ഈ സ്ഗ്തീയെ ഞങ്ങൾ
കൂട്ടിയക്കാണ്ടുവന്നലൊൾ ആ െുവാവ് ആയരന്നു
ലോദിയച്ചങ്കി ുിം അവൾ ഞങ്ങലളാടു േെഞ്ഞില്ല;
ഇതു ഞങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷയിം േെെുന്നു.
41 നത്തിന്യെ മൂെന്മാരുിം നയാൊധിേന്മാരുിം
ആെി സഭ അവയര വിശവസിച്ചു; അങ്ങയന അവർ
അവയള മരണത്തിന് വിധിച്ചു.
42 അലൊൾ സൂസന്ന ഉെയക്ക വിളിച്ചുേെഞ്ഞു:
നിതയകദവലമ, രഹസയങ്ങൾ അെിെുന്നവനുിം
അവ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നതിനുമുലമ്പ എല്ലാിം
അെിെുന്നവനുിം ആകുന്നു.
43 അവർ എനിക്കു വിലരാധമാെി കള്ളസാക്ഷയിം
േെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നീ അെിെുന്നുവലല്ലാ;
ഈ മനുഷ്യർ എനിയക്കതിയര ലഗ്ദാഹേൂർവിം
യകട്ടിച്ചമച്ച അത്തരിം കാരയങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ
