1 “And now, you priests, this warning is
for you. 2 If you do not listen, and if
you do not resolve to honor my name,”
says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a
curse on you, and I will curse your
blessings. Yes, I have already cursed
them, because you have not resolved to
honor me.

descendants[a]; I will smear on your

sacrifices, and you will be carried off

8. • The Priest in Malachi times were not a
good example to follow for the people
of Israel.
• They dishonor God by not giving value
to the Presence of God to all they do .
• The Levitical Priesthood was the
teachers of their days.

10. • Teachers positively and negatively
impact us.
• A good teacher can really change your
life; so can a bad teacher
• A bad teacher can teach you some
things that you’ve got to spend the rest of
your life unlearning.

12. • In our day of technology, we have at
our disposal more teachers and
teaching than at any point in the history
of the world.
• Discernment is only learned as we
spend time with the Presence of God.

From Teachers to Fathers

14. 1 Corinthian 4:15
For though you have ten thousand
instructors in Christ, yet you do not
have many fathers; for I have begotten
you in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

16. It’s important for us, as we come to
the Bible, to not just understand the
content of what is being said, but
understand the context in which it is
said, so that we have not just the
words, but the tone and the facial
expression.

18. • Sometimes the Bible may sound
like a Drill Sergeant but God is
still a Father in heart

Priesthood headed by Annas and
Caiaphas the High Priest was a
shame.

24. • God wants the leaders of Israel in
Malachi times to change and
follow God, but they don’t want to
change and help people change
because it will create conflict with
how they live and what they will
teach.

25. • Because of this attitude it sets the
whole generation after generation
to fall away from God.

27. • The Priest was not listening to
God. They are violating the
principles of God in the Family,
Marriages, and temple worship &
offerings.

28. • A good leader must learn to hear
the voice of God and not only to
copy what others are doing.
• He must meet with the Lord and
received specific direction from
the Lord.

30. Jude 1:12
These people are a disgrace at the special
meals you share with other believers. They eat
with you and don't feel ashamed. They are
shepherds who care only for themselves.
They are dry clouds blown around by the
winds. They are withered, uprooted trees
without any fruit. As a result, they have died
twice.

covenant with God

35. The Levitical Priesthood had become
Religious Professionals.

36. They were still doing all sacrifices &
offerings but the Presence of the Lord
had departed and no longer dwelling
with them.

37. They were slowly copying the
techniques of the heathen nations
around Israel. They were after the
offerings of the people and not the
Presence of God.

39. Malachi 2:8-9
8 But you have turned aside from the
way. You have caused many to stumble
by your instruction. You have
corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the
LORD of hosts, 9 and so I make you
despised and abased before all the
people, inasmuch as you do not keep
my ways but show partiality in your
instruction.“

41. Here’s five things to look for in a
Bible teacher. OK, these are things
to aspire to for those who feel called
to teach and these are things to look
for for those who are under teaching.

My covenant with him was one of life
and peace, and I gave them to him. It
was a covenant of fear, and he feared
me. He stood in awe of my name.

44. • This covenant was under the
Mosaic Covenant, primarily with
Aaron and his sons.
• But this covenant was already
corrupted

45. The Priesthood of Jesus
• Jesus’ priesthood was not of the
Levitical Priesthood but of the
Priesthood of Melchizedek.

46. Hebrews 7:11
The people established the Levitical
priesthood based on instructions they
received. If the work of the Levitical priests
had been perfect, we wouldn't need to
speak about another kind of priest.
However, we speak about another kind of
priest, a priest like Melchizedek, not a
Levitical priest like Aaron.

For He testifies, "You are a priest
forever after the order of Melchizedek."

instruction against sin and holy
living, its not clear.

• Today, Churches are slowly
accepting what was consider
before not acceptable.

EXAMPLE
• Before: During the 70’s & 80’s,
Disco Pubs was famous with Disco
lights. “Patay-sindi lights” was used
to USHER alcohols & drugs &
sex.

53. Present Day Malachi
• Churches used the term for
uncommitted christians as “Patay-
sindi”. Flickering light bulbs are
damaged bulbs. It is a prophetic sign
of a corrupted truth. Steady lights is
better than flickering lights for Sunday
Services.

54. • NOW:
Disco lights & Night Clubs
ambience are now used in Church
worship because churches wants to
win BIG TIME SOCIALITE
PEOPLE who likes Night clubs. It
is to entertain them.

55. • Attending Sunday Worship used
to be to Honor God and give Him
reverence but now Sunday
worship are like disco houses to
honor socialite people. Socialite
people stay while the Presence of
God left.

56. • Churches without the presence of
God uses light effects to draw
people to church.

57. • Churches operating in the FEAR
OF MAN more than the FEAR
OF GOD.

58. • Statistics are now showing:
Churches using this method are
falling into sin, leaders and
workers.

59. • Old Christians are having relapse
with “patay-sindi” lights

60. • Sacredness are no longer important to
churches.
• Why not use disco lights in funerals ?
They say it is a sacred gathering.
• What is the difference of the Presence
of God in a funeral with the Presence
of God in Sunday worship?

is a messenger of Christ.

69. COLOSSIAN 1:28
Him we proclaim, warning everyone
and teaching everyone with all
wisdom, that we may present
everyone mature in Christ.

70. • Every good Bible teacher points you
to Jesus Christ
• We teach not only in WORDS but
in ACTION.

71. • WE LIVE THE LIFE OF CHRIST
• Are we living like the life of Christ?
• A servant is no greater than His
Master.
