The 61st edition of the Mahindra Great Escape off-road rally concluded in Chikmagalur, India. Over 70 Mahindra vehicles participated in the challenging 70 km route through rocky terrain and streams. Mahindra customers enjoyed testing the capabilities of vehicles like the Scorpio and Bolero. The event was well-received and Mahindra plans to hold another rally soon.

During a Soviet gas drilling operation, a drilling accident caused a cavity to open up beneath the ground, releasing large amounts of natural gas. To prevent the spread of toxic gases, the Soviets decided to burn off the gas by lighting it on fire. On day one, teams from different zones arrived and had fun at the awards ceremony where the previous year's performance was reviewed. Well-known comedian Suresh Menon hosted the event. Day two featured an inspirational speech, exciting quizzes on products and strategies, and a reveal of future goals. Participants pledged to outperform with renewed resolve and team spirit. The conference successfully combined learning, strategy discussion, and entertainment to energize attendees.
The press conference was held at the Chakan Plant on June 14, 2010 to announce the standard operating procedure and price for the MN25. Senior journalists from various media attended the conference where they were addressed by Dr. Pawan Goenka and others. The media was also given a tour of the plant and shown an audiovisual highlighting the technology and manufacturing strength. This major announcement moves Mahindra closer to building market presence for its new commercial vehicle range and revolutionizing the Indian trucking industry through world-class products at attractive prices.

Mahindra and Renault announced a restructuring of their 51:49 joint venture Mahindra Renault Pvt Ltd (MRPL) that manufactures the Logan car in India.
