The document discusses using e-mentoring as a tool for professional teacher development. It conducted research to identify the needs of English language teachers regarding formative assessment practices and the effectiveness of an online collaborative e-mentoring platform. The study found that e-mentoring helped break down barriers, improved formative assessment strategies, and was an effective supplemental tool for professional development. However, challenges included difficulties coordinating schedules and broader implications for development. The study concluded that e-mentoring has potential to support teachers' professional growth if used to incorporate new developments into English language teaching in a practical way.

Universities need to boost and reinforce the synergies between research and education, to assure that innovation and content produced by research can nourish and update courses and knowledge taught in classes. The Harvard Business School has conceived and has been using for years the case-based teaching, a teaching system based on case studies capable of documenting business and institutional scenarios which are used as an educational tool to trigger discussion and interaction with students. The project “Case-based communication of research for education” is based on the case-based teaching with the aim of piloting the possibility of transforming a series of SUPSI research projects into case studies conceived and edited to be used in specific classes; furthermore the project aims at producing a scalable and replicable methodology with guidelines and templates. This project contributes to scientific communication, it is interdisciplinary and transversal, it is based on the specific assets of SUPSI in the field of communication, education and e-learning, and it contribute to reuse and distribute research content in the field of products, processes, businesses and arts.
The document discusses mentoring in education. It defines mentoring as a fully trusted helper, as exemplified by Odysseus leaving his son Telemachus in the care of Mentor. It argues that mentoring is necessary in 21st century schools due to issues like learning disabilities and dropout rates. A teacher can play the role of mentor if they follow important principles like not creating dependency, having clear aims, and maintaining trust and voluntary participation. Overall, the document advocates for mentoring in schools and provides guidance on how teachers can effectively serve as mentors.
Teacher mentoring involves an experienced educator supporting and guiding a novice teacher. It focuses on passing down professional teaching information and connecting theory to practice. Mentoring programs help new teachers develop skills and catch problems early. However, mentoring requires careful planning and administration support to ensure confidentiality and prevent overdependence between mentors and mentees. Effective mentoring relationships require clear roles and communication between both parties. New approaches to mentoring emphasize interpersonal connections over similarities and allow both mentors and mentees to mutually benefit from the relationship.
Valerie used several participatory techniques to plan health seminars for women in her village:
1) She had an open discussion to identify important health topics and sort them by priority. 2) She presented topics simply using visuals, demonstrations, stories and role playing. 3) Lessons were interactive to keep participants engaged and evaluate learning. 4) Valerie adapted techniques like flannel boards and puppets for an audience with low literacy. 5) Feedback helped Valerie tailor future sessions to participants' needs.
This document provides instructions and guidance for setting up and using the Edmodo online platform for educational discussions. It outlines how to create an Edmodo account, join discussion groups, add co-teachers, and set up assignments for students. The document also discusses what critical discussions should and should not entail, including allowing multiple perspectives, embracing ambiguity, and avoiding predetermined outcomes. Various discussion techniques are described, such as Circle of Voices, Circular Response, and Structured Silence.
Field trips and excursions provide hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom that are planned to supplement lessons. They stimulate students' interest, help concepts come alive, and foster observation skills and personal development. Proper planning is needed - choosing relevant locations, obtaining permissions, arranging transportation and accommodations safely. Teachers must take precautions for student control and health. Follow-up after trips includes addressing student questions and having them write about what they learned to help solidify knowledge from the experiential learning.
The document discusses four mastery techniques of teaching: Morrison, review, drill, and memorization. The Morrison technique involves five steps: exploration, presentation, assimilation, organization, and recitation to ensure mastery of a subject. Review aims to renew study of material from a new perspective. Drill focuses on automatizing facts, habits, or skills through repetition. Memorization is acceptable when coupled with understanding, but not as a meaningless routine.

1. Orbán Viktor, Magyarország Miniszterelnöke figyelmébe
Válasz a kérdésre:
visszhangozva megfordítanám a sorrendet:
Mit tettem én az országért?
Az eredeti kérdésre, t. i.
Más szavakkal, vajon mi itt a valódi kérdés?
A szappan-operák megszeghetetlen szereposztási szabályait vakon
iskolájában felbukkanó magyar a Vasfüggönyön túli behatolásnak a
tudom … Ez több, mint két évvel ezelőtt volt … Ma már nem
Alexander a divat … Különben sem nekem írta …’. Elvette a
meghívót és azt soha többé nem láttam.
kirakatok is.
gondolataim őrülten cikáznak a fejemben.
Bemegyek a hátsó
ajtón, megállás nélkül kimegyek a főbejáraton, majd ismét be. A
A többiek
felírja a számot. Ebédszünetben visszahívom. Amerikai nő,
középkorú, vagy idősebb lehet. Mondja, hogy merre járt az előző
reggel és a pénz 600, maximum 1000 dollár lehet. Nem tudja
pontosan.
Talált, süllyedt, legalábbis a nyugati
életszínvonalhoz képest. Kérdi, hogy mennyi időre jöttem. Mondom
neki, hogy egy hónapra. És mennyi pénzt hoztam magammal?
Ötven dollárt. Naponta? Mert az semmi. Nem, összesen. ???? És
mennyi pénzem volt, amikor az övét megtaláltam? Kettő font.
Akkor miért akarom visszaadni? Mert nem az enyém. Kérdi, hogy
mire költeném, ha ő nem jelentkezett volna. Befizetném a tandíjat,
6. és vennék néhány könyvet. Majd egy kis szünet. Nem hatás-szünet,
inkább keresi a szavakat. Úgy akarja mondani, hogy ne tudjam
visszautasítani. Azt kérdi, hogy elfogadom-e, ha nekem adja. Most
jön az én szünetem. Mielőtt túl hosszúra nyúlna, beleszól. Nekem
legrövidebb időn belül visszajuttassam neki a jogos tulajdonát.
ellentéte lopás, bárhogy színezzük is.
A Szocik megszívták,
belebuktak, Ön pedig aratott belőle. Jé, ott egy Bajnai
Konszolidáció! Mit tett vele? Megadta a kreditet Bajnai Gordonnak?
A Szocik nem ebbe buktak bele, hanem ennek ellenére megbuktak.
Jé, ott egy Magán Takarékpénztári Megtakarítás! Mit tett vele?
Hagyta a jogos tulajdonosánál?
A szenvedő alanyok szülei erre szinte minden
osztály domináns részénél, tisztelet a ritka kivételnek. Ebből a
8. óvódában, sőt a bölcsődében sem szabad lopni. Őszintén remélem,
hogy nem ússzák meg ezt a tanulást.
Hogy mit tett értem az ország? Ez a kérdés ezen a ponton nem
értelmezhető.
