Lumajang is a regency located in East Java province, Indonesia known as the "Banana Town". Some of the main attractions in Lumajang include Semeru Mountain, the highest mountain in Java, several lakes including Ranu Kumbolo and Ranu Pane, and beaches such as Tlepuk Beach and Watu Godek Beach. Lumajang has a bamboo forest, flower gardens, tea plantations, and silver handicraft centers, as well as volcanic sites like Mount Sawur.

Lumajang is at Regency located in
East Java province is also called
“Banana Town”. It shares it
borders with Jember (East),
Probolinggo (North), and Malang
(West). Lumajang is located
approximately 190 km southeast
of Surabaya.

Located in Candipuro district, about 45 km to south of
Lumajang. It is about 8 hectares wide. There are monkeys
around that and the visitors can observe them. In 2002, the
Bamboo Forest was awarded a “Kalpataru” (a gift from the
state) as the best Live Environment Criteria.

8. Flower Garden
Flowers agro tourism, which lies in the village Wotgalih,
Krai and Karanganyar District Yosowilangun
approximately 25 km from City Lumajang is an area
where nearly all residents have the cultivation of
flowers.

9. Sawur Mountain
Mount Sawur is to a place to see volcanoes. It is located in
Sumur Mujur village, in Candipuro district about 27 km from
the town. Beside being a perfect location to rest, it is also a
lovely place to visit for the beautiful scenery and the fresh air.

about 33 km from Lumajang town. It offers
incredible scenery and amazing powerful waves

District Gucialit,Gucialit approximately 20 km from Lumajang.

16. Pura Mandaragiri Semeru Agung
At this location a religious ceremony is perfomed by Hindus, are
orimarly Balinese. They perform the Memendak Tirta ceremony and
the Mjejauman ceremony on Mount Semeru. Ceremony are conducted
in July, Balinese traditional dance are performed in ceremony. This
temple is located i Senduro district, about 25 km from Lumajang.

17. Silver Handmade
Gold Craft center Lumajang in Pulo district, Pasirian. Lumajang,
beside the tourism objects which attractively get into the tourists,

Genitu or Manecu have scientific nameChrysophyllum cainito
is a tropical tree of the family Sapotaceae. It is native to the
Greater Antilles and the West Indies. It has spread to the
lowlands of Central America and is now is grown throughout
the tropics, including Southeast Asia.It grows rapidly and
reaches 20 m in height.
