The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help boost feelings of calmness, happiness and focus.
This resume is for Buddhi Bdr. Tamang. He has over 30 years of experience working in development with various organizations in Nepal and India. He holds an MA in Anthropology and a BA in Sociology/Anthropology. His areas of expertise include indigenous knowledge, gender inclusion, governance, appreciative inquiry, project planning and implementation, human resource development, transition management, and research methodologies like PRA. He has worked as an executive director, consultant, trainer and community volunteer. He has extensive experience designing and delivering training programs using appreciative inquiry approaches.

Bayesian networks (BNs) are a powerful tool for graphical representation of the underlying knowledge in the data and reasoning with incomplete or imprecise observations.
BNs have been extended (or generalized) in several ways, as for instance, causal BNs, dynamic BNs, Relational BNs, ...
In this lecture, we will focus on Bayesian network learning.
BN learning can differ with respect to the task : generative model versus discriminative one ? Then, the learning task can also differ w.r.t the nature of the data : complete data, incomplete data, non i.i.d data, number of variables >> number of samples, data stream, presence of prior knowledge ...
Given the diversity of these problems, many approaches have emerged in the literature. I will present a brief panorama of those algorithms and describe our current works in this field, with works about BN structure learning, dynamic BN structure learning and relational BN structure learning.
This document discusses non-surgical face and body lifting using PDO lifting threads. It describes the mechanism of action, key advantages like minimal invasiveness and long lasting results. It provides protocols and recommended thread types for lifting different areas of the face like the brows, nasolabial folds and neck. It also discusses body lifting protocols and thread recommendations for areas like the breasts, arms, abdomen and legs. Before and after photos demonstrate the lifting effects on skin laxity.
This document discusses cutaneous circulation and the regulation of blood flow to the skin. It begins by describing the blood vessels of the skin including arterioles, meta arterioles, capillaries, venules, and arteriovenous anastomoses. It then discusses characteristics of cutaneous blood flow such as its main function in temperature regulation, typical resting blood flow rates, effects of exposure to heat and cold, and regional variations. The document also covers neural control of cutaneous blood vessels including the roles of the sympathetic nervous system, parasympathetic nervous system, hypothalamic centers, baroreceptor reflex, and cortical control. Finally, it summarizes several cutaneous vascular responses like the triple response, axon
This magazine celebrates the best of British life through articles on rugby players to watch for the upcoming World Cup, autumn fashion and beauty trends, the heritage of castles and fortresses around the country, the creative work of artist Alex Chinneck, a guide to visiting North Devon featuring its attractions, examples of exceptional British interior design combining craftsmanship and flair, a culinary experience visiting the luxury resort Gleneagles in Scotland, and a visitor's guide to over 30 top British attractions.
This circuit diagram shows a basic power supply that converts 230V AC household voltage to three regulated DC voltages: +5V, +12V, and -12V. It uses a 7805 voltage regulator, 7812 voltage regulator, and two IN4007 diodes to produce the three output voltages from the input through various capacitors that filter the voltages.
This document is Danielle Juandre Miller's National Senior Certificate from the Republic of South Africa. It lists the subjects she took, her identity number, and her percentages achieved in each subject, which are mostly in the 60-90% range. The certificate confirms that Miller has met the minimum requirements for admission to bachelor's degree, diploma or higher certificate study in South Africa.
