2. Background
• Nowadays, it is common to keep mobiles,
papers, car keys somewhere and forget.
Remember those anxious moments? You try to
search frantically but do not get the article
• Another scenario is having a meeting and you
have important papers related to it and kept in a
folder or you are going for interview and would
like to pick up those important documents for
interview and you do not get it

3. Background
• Many a times you keep your ornaments on dressing table
and they are not there after some time. You start
suspecting your maid
• Sometimes you remember that you had ten Rs. 500 notes
in the wallet but now there are eight
• People park Car/Scooter in front of shop and when they
come back it is gone
• Article might be kept somewhere or it might be stolen in
either case the person or whole family will have
sleepless nights
• ASTROLOGY is of immense help and can guide to the
right path for recovery of those articles

4. Pertinent Questions
• Can I get my article back? When? Where
should I start searching for it? Who could be
the thief?
• Whom should I approach? Should I disable
my phone by contacting Phone Company or
should I approach police?
• Which direction I should start looking for
my lost ornament? Did I forget it
somewhere? Is it in the house or it has gone
out?

5. Article & Thief are two different
entities
• One has to keep in mind that finding thief and
finding lost article are two different things.
Sometime thief is found but the articles are sold
out by him already. Sometimes the things are
found back but thief is not traceable.
• Article found back may be in perfect condition
or may be in totally damaged condition like lost
scooter without engine and wheels

6. House to consider for Lost article
• In Traditional Astrology – 2nd house is
considered for movable articles
• In KP different Houses are considered for
different articles
• 2nd house for Gold, Cash, valuables
• 3rd house for sale deeds, documents, tickets,
books, communication devices such as
mobile phone, computers, visa passport et
cetera

7. Houses to consider for Lost Article
in KP
• 4th house for Car, furniture, bikes &
scooters.
• 5th house for Entertainment devices such as
music system, video players, iPods, sports
goods, TV, iPad, Projector, Puja articles etc.
• 6th house for pets

8. Moon, Lagna and 7th house
• Moon represent the article which is lost.
Lagna the querent and 7th thief if it is
stolen. Moon should indicate the article
house (3rd for documents, 4th for bike and
car, 5th for music or sports instruments etc.)
or 11 or 12 or combination of these houses.

9. KP rule to get back the Article
• 11th sublord should not be in retro star &
should signify the lost article house or 11th
house
• (e.g. for mobile phone 11th sub should
signify 11 or 3 to get it back. If it signifies
12 as well then no problem but if it does not
signify 3 or 11 but only 12 or negating
houses to 3, 11 then article will not be
traceable i.e. lost permanently.

10. KP Additional Rules
• If Ruling Planets and Significators of 2, 6
and 11 are same then certainly the article is
found. If RPs and 5, 8, 12 significators
match then it is never found.
• Generally 11th sub should be in the Ruling
for favorable results

11. When you will get it back? Timing
of the Event
• Find out the significators of the Article
house and 11th house. In the conjoined
periods of the significators the article is
recovered. If DBA is signifying 3rd or 11th
for mobile recovery then next step is to
check TRANSIT of Sun, Moon and
Ascendant. Accordingly fix the time when
you get it back.

12. How Fast?
• If Ascendant is in movable sign then
quickly, if it is in dual sign then it takes
more time, and if in fixed sign it takes a
very long time
• Observation: It takes generally that time
equivalent to 7th lord to move to 11th house

13. Location of article as of now?
• Article is seen from position of Moon in Horary
• If Moon is in human signs, it is in a place people
frequent; if it is in "signs of animals," it is where
you might find small animals.
•
• If the Moon is in fiery signs, it is near heat or fire,
someplace warm and dry. If it is in a watery sign,
it is someplace cold and damp, or near water. And
so on.

Mid-upper areas; near fireplaces, chimneys, stoves and

utility rooms; near water lines; rivers, lakes, oceans;

At/below ground level; close to the floor; near the earth;
quarries; gardens; buried; near a bridge; near pavement,

15. Moon in Kendrasthana Article
is in the same Place
• When Moon is in an angular
house[Kendrasthana] (houses 1, 4, 7 and 10)
recovery of the article is easy and quick as the
article is in the same place.
• When it is found in the Succedent (Panifar)
houses (2, 5, 8 and 11) more time will have to be
spent searching for the item.
• When in Cadent houses(Opoklim) (3, 6, 9 and 12)
the missing article is really lost or may be found
after a long search

Cardinal
high places, rooftops, near ceilings, hills, new
buildings, freshly-dug ground
Fixed
Hidden areas, low places, in walls, near floors,
flat land.
Mutable
In the house, or if outside, watery or marshy
places, ditches, markets.

17. Moon with other planets !
• If the Moon is alone in its house then the article,
too is by itself. Similarly, if other planets are in the
same house in the chart you may also expect the
lost item to be alog-with other things.
• When the Moon is with four or five planets in the
same house look for the item in a storage room or
where you have a lot of your materials.

18. Sublord of the House
representing Article
Look for Cuspal sub lord of the house related to the
article is placed in which sign. It helps in refining
the place where article will be found
e.g. If the CSL of article house is in Scorpio then it
will be hidden and if associated with Saturn then it
will be near the drain , wash area, basin etc.

19. Thief
• 7th house indicate thief if the article is stolen. 7th
sublord its aspects, conjunction, sign gives details
on the thief.
• 7th CSL is Mer then the thief is very young, Venus
then lady, Mars – person of full age, Jupiter
middle aged person and Saturn old person. If
moon then age of querent and thief is almost same.

20. Thief…
• Theft by person within house- If it is found that
the theft might have been done by insider then 7th
CSL’s connection to other houses throws the light.
E.g. 7th CSL if venus and lord of 5 then it is your
daughter, if Sat and connecting to 6th then house
maid

21. Direction of Thief
Ascendant – East
7th House – West
4th House – North
10th House – South
If the 7th CSL is in Ascendant then the thief has gone
to the north direction. If the same CSL is in 10th
house then the thief has proceeded in south direction.
If 7th CSL is in 2nd or 3rd house then search in North
East direction. Interpret other direction on this
principle
