The present study focuses on the nature and pattern of urban expansion of Madurai city over its surrounding region during the period from 2003 to 2008. Based on its proximity to the Madurai city, Preparation of various thematic data such Land use and Land cover using Land sat data. Create a land use land cover map from satellite imagery using supervised classification. Find out the areas from the classified data. The study is based on secondary data, the satellite imagery has downloaded from GLCF (Global Land Cover Facility) web site, for the study area (path101 row 67), the downloaded imagery subset using Imagery software to clip the study area. The clipped satellite imagery has used to prepare the land use and land cover map using supervised classification.
A Review on Parameter Estimation Techniques of Software Reliability Growth Mo...Editor IJCATR
Software reliability is considered as a quantifiable metric, which is defined as the probability of a software to operate
without failure for a specified period of time in a specific environment. Various software reliability growth models have been proposed
to predict the reliability of a software. These models help vendors to predict the behaviour of the software before shipment. The
reliability is predicted by estimating the parameters of the software reliability growth models. But the model parameters are generally
in nonlinear relationships which creates many problems in finding the optimal parameters using traditional techniques like Maximum
Likelihood and least Square Estimation. Various stochastic search algorithms have been introduced which have made the task of
parameter estimation, more reliable and computationally easier. Parameter estimation of NHPP based reliability models, using MLE
and using an evolutionary search algorithm called Particle Swarm Optimization, has been explored in the paper.
A Methodology for Developing Web-based CAD/CAM systemsEditor IJCATR
The absence of a common approach for design and development of Web-based CAD/CAM systems is associated with
increased risks and challenges. To overcome them and facilitate successful implementation of this kind of software within the
commercial environment, a systematic approach is required that will ensure robustness, effectiveness, usability and ease of
maintenance of these applications.
This research establishes a methodology for creating Web-based CAD/CAM software systems, which will help develop complex Webbased
CAD/CAM systems to industrial quality standards in a time and cost effective manner. The crucial parts of the methodology are

Applications of Nano Electrical Machines used in Ball mills for Nano and Pyro...Editor IJCATR
Nano fillers play a vital role in increasing the performance of different types of motors. In recent days, nano technology shows a tremendous improvement in the manufacture of high performance electronic devices and circuits, electrical apparatuses and equipment. In this paper, a wide literature survey was done on the filled of nano dielectrics and nano coated motors. Comparison of different nano fillers coated motors was done to show which motor was having superior performance characteristics compared to other motors. Based on the literature survey on the previous research works carried out in the field of applications of nano technology in the coating of nano fillers to the enamel used in the motors. Ball mills are using three phase induction motors for the mechanical operations. Ball mills are used to manufacture the nano powders used for both the nano technology and pyro technology. Industries should be well equipped with safety devices to avoid the fire accidents. Industries should follow the safety norms to avoid the fire accidents. Pyro technology based research centre was located in Sivakasi to understand and motivate the engineers, people to make an interest towards Pyro industries and to train the persons about the safety measures while working with the nano pyro powders used in the nano pyro industries. The powders used here are always in the nano range. But, the people were unaware of this technique. So, this paper will create some knowledge to the people who are working in nano pyro based industries present in Sivakasi. Sivakasi was an industrial city located in South India having more than 15000 nano pyro based industries. So, this paper will educate the engineers, managers and the persons who are all associated with these industries.
Second order and Third order NLO studies of L- alanine crystals grown in aque...Editor IJCATR
Nonlinear optics is a fascinating field, which plays a vital role in the emerging field of photonics and optoelectronics. A
nonlinear optical crystal of L-alanine grown in aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid is done by slow evaporation method. L-alanine is
an NLO material and it has a Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) efficiency of about 0.3 times that of KDP. To alter the various
properties of L-alanine, single crystals of L-alanine have been grown in the aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid. In this work, Lalanine
was admixtured with hydrofluoric acid (LAHF) in the molar ratio of 1:1. The grown crystals were colorless and transparent
and they were subjected to various studies for characterization. The third-order nonlinearities of LAHF crystal have been investigated
by Z-scan method. The values of nonlinear refractive index (n2), the nonlinear absorption coefficient (β) and third-order nonlinear
susceptibility (χ(3)) are estimated for the sample

Dielectric and Thermal Characterization of Insulating Organic Varnish Used in...Editor IJCATR
In recent days, a lot of attention was being drawn towards the polymer nanocomposites for use in electrical applications due
to encouraging results obtained for their dielectric properties. Polymer nanocomposites were commonly defined as a combination of
polymer matrix and additives that have at least one dimension in the nanometer range scale. Carbon nanotubes were of a special
interest as the possible organic component in such a composite coating. The carbon atoms were arranged in a hexagonal network and
then rolled up to form a seamless cylinder which measures several nanometers across, but can be thousands of nanometers long. There
were many different types, but the two main categories are single-walled nanotubes (SWNTs) and multi-walled nanotubes (MWNTs),
which are made from multiple layers of graphite. Carbon nanotubes were an example of a nanostructure varying in size from 1-100
nanometers (the scale of atoms and molecules). Nano composites were one of the fastest growing fields in nanotechnology. Extensive
literature survey has been done on the nanocomposites, synthesis and preparation of nano filler. The following objectives were set
based on the literature survey and understanding the technology.
Complete study of Organic varnish and CNT
Chemical properties
Electrical properties
Thermal properties
Mechanical properties
Synthesis and characterization of carbon nanotubes
Preparation of polymer nanocomposites
Study of characteristics of the nanocomposite insulation
Dimensioning an insulation system requires exact knowledge of the type, magnitude and duration of the electric stress while
simultaneously considering the ambient conditions. But, on the other hand, properties of the insulating materials in question must also
be known, so that in addition to the proper material, the optimum, e.g. the most economical design of the insulation system must be
chosen.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
