Los Cabos Bill Fishing Tournament 2016
With the busiest month of fishing tournaments behind us, it’s a perfect time to give an update
of the excitement experienced here in Cabo San Lucas over the tournament season. As always,
these tournaments bring all the big players to Cabo San Lucas. This creates an atmosphere of
comradely, competition, pressure and sportsmanship. This brings Cabo to life in a way that no
other event does. With some of the largest cash prizes on earth available, one can feel a the
richness in the air.
With kick off of The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament from October 12th to 14th this year, it being
the first of the three major fishing events through October and November. With 37 boats and
204 anglers participating in the 18th annual tournament, it was the perfect start to the
tournament season. This article is dedicated to sharing the experience and sending out
necessary congratulations, as well as celebrating a victory of our own. We would like to thank
the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament for putting on a fanatic event. We would also like to thank
Los Cabos Tourism for the role they played and all others involved in this very intricate and
spacial event.
