There are two main logistics strategies for Europe: concentrating production and storage sites while adopting flexible just-in-time production, and developing strategies in response to the creation of the European Single Market. The Single Market aims to remove barriers between states to encourage pan-European companies, while certain products will still require some localization. Logistics providers must choose between pan-European, multi-domestic, or international linking strategies depending on their culture, customers, and other factors.
