1. Location recce’
Introduction/suitability
My location recce is my house, but also a on a
train and the train station, this could suite the
element of comedy due to it being my house
I can make it messy and make it suite this
certain genre. Also the train station can have
a rushed and mad atmosphere due to the rush to
get to the train and not to be late or miss there
train; this could fit in with the comedy genre
due to the rushed atmosphere which makes it
funny.
Sound
The sound can be affected by the sounds of the trains going passed; this may force me to use
voice overs due to it being unlikely that the trains will not affect the sound quality. Also the
sounds of the cars and taxis outside the train station could also affect the sound quality. Also
the sound of the members of the public shouting etc over the noise of the trains, this could
affect filming by getting voices from the public in the shots.
Lighting
The lighting that I will use may have to be natural due to some of the
filming being in a large public place and the use
of artificial lighting may not be appropriate.
Also I may have to use artificial lighting because
I cannot afford or get artificial lights that would
provide for a large public place like the train
station.
Health and safety
The health and safety could be the mess which
im going to make in my house, I could fall over
or the actors could when he is trying to get out of the house quickly. There could be some
clothes or objects near or on the stairs so they could get in the way so this could be dangerous
due to it being by the stairs you could easily fall over them. Also with the rushing around
within the house there is always a risk of hurting yourself or others due to you rushing
around. The train station is also a risk due to it may be busy and also the clear danger of the
train.
2. Lighting (outside and inside the
house)
Unlike the train station there is a
better chance of using artificial
lighting due to the space and the
resources. Inside the house I will be
using artificial and outside I will also be using artificial
lighting depending on the weather if the
weather is ok I may be using natural
lighting.
Sound (outside and inside the
house
Unlike the train station there will be no sound of
the trains drowning out the voices and the only
chance of noise disruption would be the cars on
the street which shouldn’t be a massive problem
due to not many cars coming down my street and if one does it shouldn’t affect the sound
quality too much.
- Members of the public – this could be dangerous due to when I am filming
I could bump into a member of the public and hurt myself of them.
- Trains – The trains could be dangerous due when I am filming or when the
actors are acting there is a chance that being close to train tracks the actor
or filming could fall or trip into the tracks.
- Train track – The tracks are dangerous due to there is always a chance that
you can trip and fall into them, also the high electric current and the trains
could be life threating.
- Traffic – The cars outside my house and train station can be dangerous due
to us filming close to the road and the possibility of falling into the road or
the cars causing the accident and crashing.
- Cyclists – There is a chance that there will be a cyclist and they may not be
aware of filming and the chance of either me or him hitting each other and
causing an accident.
