Maya Shehata lives in the Lakes Compound in Al Barsha and helped the film crew locate alleyways to film. The crew can access Maya's home and the locations by walking with Maya's mother after school. Maya provided food for the crew. The first location was a 3 minute walk from Maya's house and they used additional lighting at night. The second location was also accessible by foot and they supplemented the street lights with another light source. Both locations had quiet sounds and the director ensured safety from cars on the street.

1. Maya lives in this compound so she helped us
locate some alleyways In her compound where we
could film.
Transport/access
We can all go after school with Maya’s mother to her house and then proceed to film there
then we are going home after wards with our own parents who will pick us up. The compound
is open to all however as per the compound’s privacy policy, we did not film in front of any
houses we only filmed in an empty alleyway.
Camera/sound
Power supplies are available since we have access to Maya’s home.
Our opening sequence is completely non-diegetic, so any exterior noise is not an issue.
Food
Maya served food to us at her house which, of course she made sure to ask of any allergies
and food preferences beforehand.

We can walk to the alleyway, it is around a 3 minute walk from Maya’s house.
Camera and lighting issues
Since we’re filming during the night time we used an additional light source to illuminate our
subject (Roy).
Sound issues
There were no sound issues especially as it was night the neighborhood was very quite.
Director issues
There were no director issues.
Location 2 – Street

3. Transport/access
This location is easily accessible and can be reached through walking.
Camera and lighting issues
The street light was casting a yellow hue so we decided to utilize an additional light source to
make it white light.
Sound issues
This is a quiet location with no potential disruption.
Director issues
We were careful of any cars passing and made sure to keep off the street when this occurred.
