The Lincoln Council on Aging is hosting a talk by Claire Henry of Caring Resources on July 13th about strategies for caring for those with Alzheimer's disease. The talk will provide practical tips for managing common behaviors in dementia patients such as suspiciousness, resistance to bathing, sleep disturbances, rummaging, and insisting on going home. Attendees will learn how to prevent problematic behaviors when possible and how to manage them when prevention is not an option.
