Two young cousins from Mississippi, Cameron Kitchens (12) and Kirsten Kitchens (16), wrote, directed, and starred in their own 35-minute film called "Fire It Up". The film was screened at the Mississippi Crossroads Film Festival. It tells the story of two young warriors taken from their normal lives on an adventure. Making movies has been the girls' passion since they were young, often using family members as actors. Their film was an honor to be selected for the festival and helps them understand future opportunities in filmmaking.
