Photograph 1:
This photo is unedited and uses natural light. The aperture was too high and the
shutter speed slightly too long, which is what caused the over exposure. I didn’t want
this much light in the photograph. I didn’t use any extra lighting for my shot and no
reflectors were used to enhance the natural light in the image.
Photograph 2:
To resolve the issues with Photograph 1 I made sure the aperture was lowered and
adjusted the shutter speed. These corrections gave me a cleaner shot which looks
more natural. The detail is also crisper because the light isn’t bleeding through the
image. As with the above image, I didn’t use any extra lighting for this shot and no
reflectors were used to enhance the natural light.
