This document proposes a library display idea to promote books that were adapted into popular movies. The display would use "Like" and "Love" stickers, popcorn, DVDs, and titles of books adapted to movies to show students that many of their favorite movies were originally books. It suggests using this display for all grades around times when related blockbuster movies are released or during awards season. It then lists 14 popular books that were turned into movies that could be featured in the display.

• Title – “If you liked the movie, you’ll love the book!”
• Purpose – So many students are “movie driven” that they don’t
realize that they originally started as a book. This idea usually stirs
up a lot of excitement!

• Age group – I think this display could be used for all grades.
Elementary displays would use different titles than a highschool
display, but the topic could remain universal.
• Materials used – Social Media ‘Like’ and ‘Love’ stickers, popcorn
cartons, popcorn, DVDs, titles of books
• Time of the year - I think this display could be used at any point
during the year, but also could be used when a big Blockbuster
(based on a book) is about to be released or during movie awards
season.
