TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I had the pleasure of supervising and working alongside Liam O’Donnell during the
course of a six month video internship at New England Conservatory, between July and
December, 2015. In the six years that NEC has been offering video co-op positions to
students enrolled at Northeastern University, I have personally supervised two dozen
interns, and of all those co-op workers, Liam made his mark as one of the most
insightful and creative.
From the first day Liam joined my team, he consistently took upon himself the task of
chief cameraman, and worked quickly and effectively to learn and adopt new
equipment and techniques into his repertoire of skills. Liam has a very good eye for
video and displayed creativity and imagination in every shot.
Liam is by nature enthusiastic and somewhat excitable, which in turn can cause him to
appear somewhat disorganized. However, as his co-op progressed, I witnessed his
demeanor change: he calmed down and took things better in stride, and his work
quickly became thoughtful, creative and surprisingly well put together.
I most highly recommend Liam to your consideration.
