Dear Sir or Madam:
It is with great pleasure that I provide this recommendation for Dr. Raziq
Yaqub for the position of Executive Director of the United States Educational
Foundation in Pakistan. I believe that Dr. Yaqub is extremely well suited for
this position and that he will make an outstanding Executive Director. Dr.
Yaqub is an extremely intelligent, hard-working and diligent person that
combines extreme kindness and interpersonal skills that render him to be a
great teacher and educator. I very sincerely recommend him very highly for
this position.
Summary:
In summary, it is with great sincerity that I provide this positive
recommendation for Dr. Yaqub.
Please understand that my recommendation is truly very sincere. Based on
years of working with Dr. Yaqub, I have found him to be one of the hardest
working, most intelligent, and most dedicated people that I have ever
met. Dr. Yaqub is an extremely rare individual that appears to take great
pleasure in learning and in helping others. Most individuals, including high
level executives, would consider a person with Dr. Yaqub’s level of education
(i.e., with very high levels of education in multiple disciplines) and with Dr.
Yaqub’s high level of language and custom experience (i.e., speaking numerous
languages fluently, enabling him to communicate fluently across high
technology circles within, e.g., the U.S., Pakistan, Japan & India) to be a
peculiar anomaly. Most would be daunted by the extent of learning that would
be required to achieve these goals. However, I believe that Dr. Yaqub has
achieved these goals very naturally for him. He is an individual that clearly

loves to learn, has an incredible capacity to learn, and that clearly loves to help
others and to inspire growth in others.
By way of example, out of all of the individuals that I have worked with within
his company, as well as within other companies, Dr. Yaqub has been by far the
most enthusiastic and proactive individual in terms of focusing on
understanding and mastering legal aspects related to technology. He was one
of the more prolific inventors, and developed a strong understanding of the
patent system in order to seek to provide the best advances and advantages for
his company. It was in that context in which I had the unique opportunity to
experience working with Dr. Yaqub.
My Contact with Dr. Yaqub
I am the managing partner of a law firm in the United States. In that context, I
have worked directly with Dr. Yaqub for about five years.
a. Dr. Yaqub’s Interpersonal Skills
In my work with Dr. Yaqub, I have found him to be one of the most kind,
caring, considerate and gracious people that I have ever worked with in a
business environment. To be honest, his kindness and generosity has not only
made me think highly of Dr. Yaqub, but has given me a very positive
impression of his background and his homeland in Pakistan.
As a patent attorney, I have needed Dr. Yaqub to explain complex technology to
me on many occasions. He is always very patient and kind, and very organized
in his presentations. He is actually one of the kindest individuals that I have
ever met, and he often does things for others out of kindness. For example, he
has purchased toys for my child when over seas because he found certain rare
items that he knew my son would enjoy. Few people are so considerate and
caring in a business environment as Dr. Yaqub.
Dr. Yaqub is a very warm and considerate person, and he clearly cares very
much about education and about his homeland in Pakistan. I think that
people like Dr. Yaqub are a great asset to Pakistan and to the future of
international relations across the globe. He possesses a rare combination of
extreme kindness and understanding, with an extremely high level of intellect,
education and diligence.
b. Dr. Yaqub’s Work Ethic
Although Dr. Yaqub’s high level of dedication to education and hard work can
be seen in his high level of education and in his ability to communicate in
many languages, it is also readily observed by people that work alongside Dr.
Yaqub. In all business activities, he is always very diligent and thorough in his
work product, and in his time and commitment to providing timely and

complete information. In addition, he always goes very far to assist others,
such as, e.g., by drafting documents and charts to help educate others so as to
make the work of others easier.
He is an extremely conscientious person, and he works very long hours without
complaints. Dr. Yaqub is also highly organized, and he always takes the time
to draft complete and articulate documents and presentations to ensure the
complete understanding of others. By way of example, Dr. Yaqub’s numerous
invention disclosure documents have invariably been far more detailed and well
presented than that of other inventors. In addition, Dr. Yaqub has consistently
made himself available for and provided oral presentations of his technology,
with clear and concise power point presentations to further facilitate
understanding. I believe that one of the reasons why Dr. Yaqub has been able
to achieve such a high level of education, knowledge and success comes from
his strong organizational skills and his willingness and desire to learn and
master all fundamental aspects so as to ensure a clear and organized
foundation and understanding, enabling a more rapid growth and development
over the long term.
I often meet with his company to discuss matters with inventors, and Dr.
Yaqub always goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable and to help me -
even if he has much work to finish. He always does this with a genuine smile
too, even though I sometimes realize that his generosity means that he will
have to work very late to accommodate me.
c. A Great Asset to United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan.
I very sincerely believe that Dr. Yaqub will be a very strong asset to the U.S.
Educational Foundation in Pakistan. Dr. Yaqub is very internationally
educated, and one of the top technical individuals in the fields of
telecommunications and semiconductors, with knowledge not only of technical
aspects but of cultural aspects and activities in both Japan and the United
States. In addition, Dr. Yaqub has an extensive history of education which
would provide a great asset to your organization.
In combination with Dr. Yaqub’s sincere interest in the development of others,
and with his love of his homeland in Pakistan, I am confident that he will be a
great asset to your organization.
Dr. Yaqub will bring a very strong background to this position. And, as
evidenced by his great capacity to learn and great desire to learn, he should
