Having
been
requested

Mr
Nuno
Cruz
the
elaboration
of
a
letter
of
recommendation.
I
would
like
to
express
my
strong
conviction
that
the
candidate
will
be
able
to
develop
successfully
for
any
technical
work
in
civil
engineering,
structures
and
Construction.
I
met
the
candidate
as
teacher
of
different
subjects
in
the
Civil
Engineering
course,
at
Instituto
Superior
Técnico
(IST),
in
Lisbon.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
known
him
better,
in
the
final
year,
regarding
the
supervision
of
his
master
thesis
entitled
‘Seismic
Design
and
Assessment
of
Irregular
3-­‐Storey
Concentric
Braced
Steel
Frame
Buildings’.
In
any
case,
it
was
possible
for
me
to
develop
an
excellent
opinion
regarding
his
capacities
of
analysis
and
achievement,
as
well
as
commitment
to
reach
the
predefined
goals.

this
