To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. Dye has my highest recommendation for hire to your organization. I
worked with Mr. Dye for 12 months as his Commanding Officer in Company L, 3rd
Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment in Twentynine Palms, California. Mr. Dye worked for
me as a squad leader, and I was fortunate to be in a position to observe him each
day.
Mr. Dye was the most adaptable noncommissioned officer within the
Company, and the level of trust he engendered up and down the chain of
command, and with foreign civilians and government officials, was impressive. Mr.
Dye stood out for his ability to grasp complex problems and apply judgment in
developing appropriate solutions in our high-visibility, diplomatically sensitive
environment. Mr. Dye excelled at communicating his recommendations to all
stake-holders which allowed him to de-escalate complex situations, when
escalation would have been and easy and justifiable decision. His maturity,
adaptability, and steadfast reliability will be an asset to any organization.
I would actively seek to work with Mr. Dye in the future, and I am confident
in giving him my highest recommendation for employment in your organization.
I can be reached on my cell phone at (802) 238-2660 or by email at
cdf@jhu.edu to answer any questions you may have specific to your organization.
Respectfully,
C. Douglas Ferreira
