To Whom It May Concern,
Richy Ludwick came to CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions as a summer marketing
intern upon the recommendation of one of our board members. During the three months
he interned with us, I had the pleasure of overseeing his work on a variety of marketing
tasks.
His first assignment was to make updates to a 180-page resource guide for older adults,
persons with disabilities and family caregivers. On this project, Richy showed meticulous
attention to detail while working against a tight deadline. Once the print version of the
publication was complete, Richy took an online course in html that enabled him to post
the resource information to our website.
Richy also supported CICOA’s social media outreach by managing CICOA’s Twitter
account. Additionally, he conducted research for several new marketing initiatives to
Central Indiana’s faith community and family caregivers, identified potential fee-for-
service opportunities, and participated in planning sessions for a statewide service
project in partnership with IU Health.
Throughout the summer, Richy demonstrated professionalism, competency and
courtesy in his work, evidenced by the fact that several team members vied for his
involvement in their projects. I have no doubt that Richy will succeed in pursuing a future
in either for-profit or non-profit marketing, and I recommend him without reservation.
