6. Regional venture capital funds
• Venture fund according to the Russian legislation = closed
unit investment fund of especially risky (venture)
investments
• Regional venture capital funds are created on principles of
public-private partnership.
• Budgetary funds are transferred to a non-profit organization
established by the regional administration, which then
passes them into trust management of a management
company selected at the contest by acquiring investment
units of the venture fund.

acquisitions in the industry, investment attractiveness of the industry for
direct investments, activity of strategic investors, in acquisition of small
innovative companies)
2. general innovative-technological trends of the sub-branch in which the
project is planned to develop, and the number of innovative projects
seeking funds in it
3. volume of the market for the product/service to be developed under the
project, qualitative and quantitative estimation of the market demand for
the new product/service
4. level and quality of competition at the product/service entry to the branch
market and the project's innovative breakaway in that market, the
presence of non-market behavior and administrative restrictions
5. level of scientific validity, depth of scientific research and novelty of
technological solutions embedded in the innovation

17. Steve Jobs, the future computer genius, was born in 1955. His
childhood can hardly be called the childhood of a well-to-do child.
And in 1968, a truly historic event happened: Jobs met his namesake,
who is no less famous now. The namesake's last name was Wozniak,
and he had gone to the same Homestead High School in Cupertino.
