This document provides vocabulary and information needed to state the date in French. It includes the days of the week, months of the year, and numbers 1-31 in French. It explains that the standard format is "C'est weekday, le # of the day month". Unlike in English, the day comes before the month in French dates. Days of the week and months are not capitalized. The French week begins on Monday. Ordinal numbers are not used except on the first of the month, which is "premier".
