The Campus Kitchen at Kent State University Kent, Ohio May 2015 - Present
Officer, Outreach Education Manager, Social Media Manager: Responsible for social
media strategy and execution. Oversaw a nutrition outreach program each week at the
local farmer’s market. Became the “face” of the organization, advocated for good
nutrition through on-site cooking/ sampling, managed food recovery, established
relationships with farmers/vendors, managed volunteers, marketed the program,
collected monetary donations. Responsible for all social media including Twitter,
Facebook, and Instagram. Increased Facebook engagement 720% and total reach
9,625%.
It’s a Decision Kent, Ohio May 2012 – Present
Blogger at www.itsadecision.com: Offered passionate whole food, plant-based advice,
commentary, articles/recipes pertaining to health and nutrition. Over 1,000 followers on
Twitter @Plantcentric. Currently on scholarly sabbatical.
