Alexander Gregoire is an electrical engineering student at the University of Maine seeking an internship. The DC-DC Boost Converter was designed, simulated, and constructed using 2 boost circuits and
an astable-mulitivibrator to increase a 9V input into a 45V output.
Optical Link Fall 2014
An Optical Link using IR technology was designed, simulated, re-engineered, and assembled to
transmit and receive an optical signal. The Optical Link consisted of several stages including an
LED driver, signal conditioning unit, ring oscillator, trans-impedance amplifier, common source
amplifier, and active band-pass filter.
