2. At the edge of abyss.
I can’t shut it out,
I can’t even comprehend.
It never sleeps,but it tends to let go,
I can’t even understand.
It starts:

3. Breaking the wheel,
of men lost before.
It holds on,and it never lets go.
I am better than,
from people long ago,
but I can’t understand.

4. Engine runs,of the confines of my mind.
At the beginning of time.
I remember when times,
were brighter than this.
I can never let go,
I can never let it take control.

5. Here it begins,
the empire of long lost thoughts.
I can’t even understand.
Why is it like this?
When did it take hold?
Why can’t I understand?

6. So it begins.At the start of the line.
I can’t ever let go,
of the back of my mind.
Is it a lost cause?
I never let go,
even though I don’t understand.

7. And it goes,and it goes,
and it goes,and it goes.
Constantly running.
At the back of my mind.
Even if I don’t understand.
