This document summarizes conservation activities in Latin America from 2008-2019 that were supported by various organizations including ICCROM, Mexico, Japan, Argentina, Spain, Chile, and Brazil. It describes conferences, courses, fellowships and other programs focused on Japanese paper conservation, risk management of cultural heritage, and stone conservation. The goals were to strengthen conservation professionals, improve communication in the region, and increase public awareness. Over 300 Latin Americans participated in ICCROM courses from 2011-2013. Partnerships and newsletters helped engage the conservation community across Latin America.
