Communicating was hard, especially because of the time difference. But everything get better once I got my tickets to visit her and to travel around. Over the past couple years, the community's faith community has seen some steady positive developments. With some new approaches we have taken within the Unification Movement, we have also been a helpful and positive influence on other communities who we are in communication with. Our Sunday programs have continued to develop with many people from over seas joining us live and a good body of people watching our recorded services in the archive. Our memberships went up from 150 to 250. Staff and volunteers meet every Sunday at 10am to pray and prepare for the worship service. Last year one of our elders, Yajiro Kobayashi, passed on, and we were able to hold a beautiful Shungra ceremony for him together with his family.
