In the gathering we talked abuout the swedish traditional folk costumes, what the children knew
about them, when we have them on us or wich colors are tipycal of traditional costumes.
We googled about the theme and continue to talk about it in the gathering, and then introduce it
into our creation. The children got to make Swedish national dress on small paper then briefly
became the Swedish Flag Day on Juen 6. we even made on of Dalarnas folk costume on big
papers that the kids got to paint, then we hang them on our doors.
The children draw, cut and paste on the selected fund the paper their Swedish folk costumes to
celebrate Swedish Flag Day.
The creation of Dalarnas ( the most traditional community in Sweden) costumues. We divided the chil-
dren into two groups where they helped each other to paint the beautiful costumes.
This is the end result of what the children created with ´traditional costumes.
Vår kungafamilj i svenska traditionella folkdräkten.
