Lakeside Laboratory offers a variety of ecology and environmental courses ranging from one to four weeks during the summer. Courses include topics like diatom ecology, aquatic ecology, algae systematics, wetland ecology, limnology, prairie ecology, ornithology, epidemiology, archeology, ichthyology, environmental health, algal blooms, mammalogy, soil science, environmental writing, agroecology, and fire ecology. Course lengths include one-week, two-week, and four-week options for students to earn semester credit hours.
