4. • CO2 : capture using designed and specifically functionalised solid
materials, controlled release and transformation into useful starting
materials using electricity and specially engineered electrodes;
• Novel antibiotics : generation of new scaffolds displaying enhanced
biological activities via unique multicomponent transformations;
• Hydrosilylation : generation of a new family of reactive catalysts
possessing better selectivity, improved performance and tolerance;
• Aerobic oxidation : development of a unique aerobic catalytic
oxidation system applicable to every alcohol families.

catalysis, novel monomers and polymers, green
chemistry, cancer treatment, fungal diseases,
epilepsy, CNS, neurotoxins, tuberculosis,

SERVICES PROVIDED TO COMPANIES

• Litterature search, data mining, projected synthetic route
analysis, feasibility studies, initial experimental tests on small
scale, scale-up experiments, single or multiple step optimisation
studies and small pilot experiments (100 gr scale)
• Full analytical data, including 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy,
mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction analysis, IR, UV, accurate
mass analysis, cyclic voltamperometry, GC, HPLC, chiral GC, chiral
HPLC, …

We are delighted to provide companies with our know-how in the various
areas presented in the previous slides.
In addition, we can :
• Deliver lectures or courses on specialised topics of interest, either in-
house or at the university,
• Provide consultancy upon request in anyone of these areas,
• Offer in-house training in new methods or techniques,
• Host industrial collaborators in the laboratory to benefit from the
direct day-to-day contact with state of the art academic research,
• Teach and educate in ecologically benign reactions and processes,…
