Kyle’s Top 100 Favorite

What I looked at for each game when ranking them:

game
● I did this by personally ranking:

○ Graphics
○ Story
○ Singleplayer
○ Multiplayer
○ Hours of time I spent playing it
○ “The Nostalgia Factor”

Nostalgia Factor” plays a much bigger role

cheats
● Missions were sometimes
confusing to beat unless
you read the files before the
mission
● Pierce Brosnan is still best
Bond
#6: Grand Theft Auto:
Vice City
● PS2
● 2002
● You’re out of touch
● I’m out of time
● By far best music out of any
GTA game ever created
● First ever Grand Theft Auto I
ever played
● The 80’s Miami theme just
strikes a chord with me
● Missions were enjoyable
● Cheats also made this
game a timeless classic
#5: Kirby Super Star
● Super Nintendo
● 1996
● Probably the game that
Jeremy and I played the
most
● Playing as anyone but
Player 2 in this game
doesn’t seem right
● Though other Kirby games
came after, i still find this
one to be the most fun and
best looking of them all
● Bosses were fun
● An amazing, enjoyable
experience
#4: Dynasty Warriors
4
● Playstation 2
● 2003
● I know more about ancient
semi-historic Chinese
History than the common
man because of this game
● Zhou Tai, Gan Ning, and Ma
Chao are mi bois
● Wu is my favorite faction
● Battles had mostly the
same objectives, but it was
still a blast to play
#3: Final Fantasy VIII
● Playstation
● 1999
● Pre-rendered cutscenes
were gorgeous and
beautiful, especially for the
time
● Story and Characters were
equally as amazing
● Just wish the Junctioning
system and the leveling
system weren’t so screwy
● Though Edgy, Squall is
probably my favorite Final
Fantasy Protagonist
#2: Kingdom Hearts
● PS2
● 2002
● Disney meets Final Fantasy
● Whoever came up with that
idea is most likely running
Square-Enix right now
● Worlds were great
● Wonderland’s music was
especially horrible, otherwise
music for the game is great
● Face it…
● We all know…
● You had “Simple and Clean” by
Utada Hikaru on your mp3
player or Ipod at some time in
your life
● Maybe even still today…
And finally…
The game that many of you
have probably already
guessed…
#1: Final Fantasy X
● Playstation
● 2001
● My favorite Final Fantasy
and turn based RPG of all-
time
● Everything amazing about
it
○ Characters
○ Aeons
○ Enemies
○ Story
○ Blitzball
○ Music
○ This entire game
● Perfection from Square-
Enix that I feel still has not
been matched yet

  • 1. Kyle’s Top 100 Favorite Games of All-Time

What I looked at for each game when ranking them: ● I ranked them as to how I PERSONALLY feel, not the general consensus on every game ● I did this by personally ranking: ○ Gameplay ○ Graphics ○ Story ○ Singleplayer ○ Multiplayer ○ Hours of time I spent playing it ○ “The Nostalgia Factor” ● While a sports game may not have a story, the gameplay, multiplayer, and “The Nostalgia Factor” plays a much bigger role
  • 3. #100: Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis ● Playstation 2 ● 2003 ● Sims Theme Park with Dinosaurs ● I loved building up the park then tearing down the walls and letting the dinos go nuts

  • 5. #98: Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble ● Super Nintendo ● 1996 ● I don’t know how this one got here either ● Loved the graphics and Bosses in the game

  • 67. #36: Batman: Arkham Asylum ● Xbox 360 ● 2009 ● Hell yeah, the Batman game we always wanted ● Just about every major batman villain is in this one ● Gadgets were cool ● Any cutscene damage to Batman’s suit stuck around the whole game ● Lots of exploring for a sandbox game ● Didn’t like the combat combo system
  • 68. #35: Luigi’s Mansion ● Gamecube ● 2001 ● Interesting ghosts, which were basically boss fights ● The beginning creeped me out as a kid ● Boos as collectibles were also fun to collect ● One of the first games I ever played on the GC
  • 69. #34: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars ● Super Nintendo ● 1996 ● One of the best turn-based RPGs ● You could actually have Bowser fight on your team ● Graphical and musical masterpiece, with a fantastic story ● Should be a Federal Capital Offense that it never got a TRUE sequel

  • 73. #30: Pokemon Gold Version ● Gameboy Color ● 2000 ● I will always love Ho-oh even though he seems to be the red-headed stepchild compared to Lugia ● Even though most of Kanto is pretty easy because you are overleveled, still feels like this game is one of the longest ● I’d consider this to be Pokemons GOLDEN age ● lolz
