To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to recommend Mr. Alexander Koz for employment as a software engineer and/or
database analyst. Mr. Koz worked for our organization for several months as a full time
temporary employee. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of funding we were unable to retain Mr.
Koz. He did, however, perform his duties in an exemplary manner. I believe he has the
background and experience to fill many positions within the information technology profession.
He is very hard working and intelligent. He has a background in both software engineering and
geophysics, so he would be competent within many multi-disciplinary environments. In
particular, he has some recent experience in database analysis and design. I am certain that he
would be an excellent fit for many different types of positions. While Mr. Koz worked for CBSE,
he worked on an extremely intricate database management application involving the biological
cold stowage for the NASA International Space Station. He worked as the database designer
and application analyst for this project and it is largely due to his efforts to document the design
process that we have been able to continue the project without interruption.
I would also like to say that Mr. Koz was well liked by his peers within our organization and
made every effort to be courteous and professional to fellow workers and customers. I would be
happy to speak to anyone desiring to interview Mr. Koz by telephone (205-975-1681) or email
(sibley@cbse.uab.edu) to further discuss his qualifications.
Sincerely,
Daniel B. Sibley
