TylerCo developed a new LED lighting system that uses 80% less energy than fluorescent lighting. They retrofitted three menu board signs at a Jack in the Box location with their Signlite product. This reduced the energy usage of the signs by a total of 968 watts or almost 1 kW, with savings of 91% for each sign. A 20-year warranty is provided for the Signlite system.

2. INTRODUCTION
TylerCo, Inc. is a lighting manufacturer that has developed
a totally new approach to lighting rather than just replacing
the light bulb. Through innovative design that uses LED

3. TylerCo, Inc. has, by proprietary means, encapsulated
the light guide allowing this light source to become
environmentally usable. It is now waterproof, dustproof,
and we found that because the LEDs generate so little
heat, the encapsulation absorbed the heat - so there is
virtually no heat coming from our light panels.

Measure energy savings for Jack in the Box by retrofitting
menu board signs.
The purpose of this report is to collect the data on the total electricity demand savings by
retrofitting Jack in the Box menu board signs with TylerCo’s Signlite.
On November 12, 2015 TylerCo, Inc. retrofitted three menu boards at the Jack in the Box located
at 2291 W Esplanade Ave., San Jacinto, CA 92582. The total electricity demand savings for all
three back-lit signs is calculated = 968 watts or almost 1 kW. We will need annual operating hours
values for each sign to estimate the annual energy savings. The break down per sign is as
follows:

9. TWENTY-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
TylerCo, Inc. ("TylerCo") warrants, for a period of twenty (20) years from the shipment date
(the "Warranty Period"), that SIGNlite (the 'Product") will be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use. This warranty shall cover all the parts, to repair or replace the Product.
TylerCo will repair or replace any Product determined to be defective and which has been returned, at
the original purchaser's risk and expense. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser
of the Product.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE VOID AND SHALL NOT APPLY IF:
1. Product has been altered in any way;
2. Product has been subjected to shock impact, electrical surge, or other physical damage;
3. Product has been subjected to tampering, misuse, or abuse;
4. Product has not been installed in accordance with the official TylerCo installation instructions
and specifications;
5. Product has not been connected to proper electrical source of supply;
6. Product has been subjected to corrosive atmosphere, excessive moisture, or abrasion;
7. Product has received any addition, alteration, or service not authorized by TylerCo;
8. Product has been operated using procedures other than those described and
recommended by TylerCo, unless such procedures have been authorized in writing by
TylerCo.

10. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL TYLERCO BE LIABLE FOR ANY
LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS OR ANY INDIRECT,
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS) REGARDLESS OF THE
FORM OF ACTION WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING
NEGLIGENCE), STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN
IF TYLERCO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF TYLERCO
HEREUNDER EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT THE ORIGINAL
PURCHASER ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO
SUCH LIABILITY, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION, IN
CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE.
Please note that you are responsible for all shipping charges incurred in
returning an item for exchange or repair. TylerCo shall pay for return shipping
of repaired and/or replaced Products to addresses within the United States only.
It is understood and agreed that in the event of defects
and the necessity of making repairs, the original purchaser
will immediately notify TylerCo in writing of its conditions.
