Arrive in the morning in Kolkata, the first capital of colonial India. Check-in at the
Kenilworth, and post-breakfast, head out into the city. Begin exploring from the St. Paul’s
Cathedral, then over to The Victoria Memorial, one of the many remnants of Kolkata’s
colonial past. Stop by India’s first museum, the Indian Museum and post-lunch take a tour
of the ‘British’ BBD Bagh Area, India Coffee House and Marble Palace.

This day begins with a visit to the Mullick Flower Market, then a short stop over at the
Jagdish Chandra Bose Botanical Gardens. Drive back into the city to its iconic Kali
Temple, from where the city gets its name. Post-lunch, you can visit Tagore House, the
ancestral home of India’s first Nobel Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore in the heart of the
city. Later drive to Kumortuli Potters’ Village, an exotic enclave of creativity, where the
images of the goddess Durga are supplied for the occasion of Durga Pujo every year. End
the day at the Sheetalnathji Mandir, a Jain temple with a vast variety of mosaics, colors,
