 Target Audience
Introduction

 Mosquitoes, dengue  huge problem in today’s society.

 Dengue fever  endemic in > 110 countries worldwide

 Infects 50 to 100 million people a year

 Severe cases of dengue carries a mortality of around 26%

 NO APPROVED VACCINE AGAINST DENGUE FEVER!

 Despite preventive measures, people still bitten! It’s either
  neglected or just not enough!
Introduction
Objectives

 Promote awareness of the need to take more
  preventive measures against mosquitoes.

 Provide a simple, reliable and effective solution to
  keep pesky mosquitoes away.

 Allow almost anyone to own something that keeps
these deadly mosquitoes away by making it cost
  efficient.
Our Invention
What and How?
 Fan (with metal safety
  covering cage) attachment

 It houses a bottle of insect
  repellent, whose insect-
  repelling scent is dispersed by
  the blowing wind.
Purpose

 We want, above all other measures, an extra
  precaution

 Basically, insect repellent 24h, to keep mozzies away
  just in case!
Underlying-Principal

 Current measures ARE good and should stay there.

 Invention is NOT there to eliminate other measures.

 Invention is there to compliment such measures.

 Protect them in the sense mosquitos do not go near
  you, when at home/campsites.
Target Audience

ANYONE whom wishes
 to keep their area or
 home mosquito-free!
Thank you! 
