3. About the Company
 Shree Prayag Air Controls Pvt Ltd. Is
popularly known as SPAC PNEUMATIC
 It is a leading manufacturer of basic
pneumatic components like FRL, Controls /
Valves, Movement/ Air Cylinders and
Connections.
 Products manufactured by SPAC are
pneumatic cylinders, Pneumatic PU hose and
one-touch fitting.
 Established in the year 2002 company got its
ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification in the year
2013.

4. Best of the Company
 The company is known for for manufacturing and
exporting a wide range of SPAC Standard
Cylinders that comprises of ESC Series Cylinder
And Mountings (Tie-Rod), ESU Series Cylinder
And Mountings (Mickey Mouse) and EMAL Series
Cylinder (Round Body).
 These cylinders are manufactured in compliance
with industry standards using high grade materials.
It is used in various industries for process
applications.

5. About the product and testing
process pre adoption of ISO
9001:2008
 Pneumatic Air hose is used to supply compressed
air in the pneumatic circuits at pressure varying
from 1bar to 10 bar.
 It is manufactured using thermoplastic
polyurethane which has high tensile strength and
abrasive properties.
 Earlier the testing of the hose was used to be done
by just compressed air and at lower pressures from
6 bar to 10 bar.
 There was no such complaint in the product but
company was not able to meet the
quality standard specifications of
some of its prestigious customers.

6. Need of ISO 9001:2008
Standards in the company
 With the growing business requirements,
customer need and to bring perfection in
quality company decided to introduce ISO
1402 testing standards for the pneumatic
PU hose.
 Pneumatic PU hose manufacturing started
in the year 2009.
 And after the registration of the company in
ISO 9001:2008 company decided to
upgrade its standard.

7. Testing Process
 Rubber and plastic hoses and hose
assemblies – hydrostatic testing
 ISO: 9001: 2008 specifies methods for the
hydrostatic testing of rubber and plastics
hose assemblies, including methods for the
determination of dimensional stability.
 The standard clearly specifies the method
for measurement of burst pressure and
elastic elongation. Using the necessary
apparatus.

testing Standards
 Company got recognition amongst larger groups.
And there product got approved in companies
following strict quality measures.
 Since every batch is now tested by ISO 9001
standard, complaints reduced to a very small
number, which is less than 0.5%
 Sales figures of this product grew to 20% in recent
years after implementation of the standard.
 Due to strict quality checking the manufacturing
department has also improved their process.
This has resulted in lesser rejections and
rework also got reduced.
