Introduction
• Meeta Communication Systems Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in
1987 with it’s founder being Mr. Parul Narottam Sampat
• Location - Fort, Mumbai
• The company mainly deals in office automation products and
security systems like Key telephone systems, EPABX systems,
Intercom systems, Call loggers, security cameras, fire alarms,
Board room solutions, Access control systems, Voice
processing systems etc.
• The company has business partners like Panasonic, Samsung,
HP, Hikvision, CNB, Canon, Sharp, Syntel, Voicegate, etc.
Environment
• The organization is decentralized and an environment is
created where managers are given responsibility and
opportunities to flourish
• The key element of success for the organization have been its
training modules, business review and performance appraisal
meetings to motivate the employees
• Brain storming sessions are held weekly to know what
developments can be made to make the firm more competitive
Technology and Training
• The firm uses EDI technologies for it’s information systems,
where easy access of information is provided to employees
regarding customer information, sales and product launches
• The sales teams are given monthly training for the new
product launches in the market
• Sales persons are given training to reduce their quick response
time, so that more customers are served in a time period
• The engineers are sent for on-site training programs at firms
like Panasonic, Hikvision, Samsung and HP at regular
intervals to improve their technical knowledge about the
products
Model and Information Systems
• A hub and spoke model is followed by the organization for its
services engineers, as the company has a clientele base of
more than 4000 all over India
• This helps in improving the operational efficiency of the firm
• Also an information system is created where all customers can
give reviews about the organization and the service provided
by the technicians and access of this information is to every
employee in the firm
Reason for success
• The environment of the firm is informal so that there is free
flow of knowledge amongst the employees and the
management
• The enhances every employees knowledge and helps in
providing better service to customers
• The company has flourished because of the acceptance of the
ideas from it’s employees
• Therefore, all it takes is to make use of the knowledge of the
employees to make an efficient organization
