2. Introduction
Before assuming his current role as president of
RPG Consulting LLC, Robert P. Givens served 27
years in the United States Air Force, where he
reached the rank of brigadier general. In free time,
Robert P. Givens enjoys watching football,
especially when played by such NFL teams as the
Arizona Cardinals, which recently had a scare
when running back David Johnson was injured in-
game.
Though the Cardinals dominated the Rams 44-6
on New Year’s Day in the last game of the
season, the team’s running back incurred a nasty-
looking injury in the game’s first quarter.
3. David Johnson
After a tackle from a Rams defensive end,
David Johnson landed awkwardly on his left
leg, with his knee visibly bending in the wrong
direction.
Though Johnson and the team feared the
running back’s injury would require surgery
and rehab that would prevent him from playing
next season, the MCL sprain will require
neither. In an interview, Johnson revealed that
while he was scared at first, he felt
tremendous relief after an MRI scan showed
the relatively minor extent of his injury.
