2. M.TECH project
Title: Effect of FDM process parameters and part orientations & mechanical properties
testing of FDM parts.
Abstract : Fused deposition Modeling (FDM) is a technology of building
functional parts and prototypes through layer by layer addition of material directly
by utilizing the digital CAD data. In this three decade old technology material is
successively added in a constructive manner to obtain physical 3D object. Due to
its simplified product development process it has a wide range of applications in
the areas like Automobile, Aerospace, Architecture, bio-medics and consumer
goods.
Although it is one of the mostly used RP (rapid prototyping) technique
the parts built through this technology are relatively less in terms of strength for
utilizing as functional parts. The part strength can be increased by varying the slice
thickness and material. The present work is concentrated to study the variations in
surface finish values by varying the process parameter, another objective is to
evaluate the mechanical properties of the fabricated parts.
B.TECHproject
Title: Designof Ventilation and Air Conditioning & Heat load calculations.
Abstract: This project is consists of “DESIGN OF VENTILATION & AIR
CONDITIONING (HVAC) FOR BOLLARD PULL TUG” undertaken by us at
“HINDUSTHAN SHIPYARD LTD,VISHAKHAPATNAM”.
This objective provides a procedure for preparing a manual calculations of
heating load. Ventilation requirements for Engine room. Factors to be considered for
sizing the equipment. A number of published methods, tables and charts industry
handbooks, manufacturers engineering data and manufacturer’s catalog data usually
provide a good source of design information and criteriain the preparation of the
HVAC load calculation.
