Clarence Dow has worked at KinderCare Learning Center since 2013, starting as a preschool assistant teacher and now teaching music and piano lessons to toddlers and preschoolers. His engaging music program incorporates his own instruments and experiences. As a teacher, Clarence uses open-ended questions and positive reinforcement to encourage imagination, individual growth, and the development of thought in children. Clarence Dow has worked with us here at KinderCare Learning Center since January
2013. Clarence first started with us as a preschool assistant teacher. He imparted
wisdom and kindness with his children, while inspiring good behavior through
positive reinforcements. Clarence loves to ask open ended questions and encourage
the children to imagine and grow as individuals.
Clarence transformed into a music teacher here at KinderCare and currently teaches
music to young toddlers, older toddlers, preschoolers and children in Pre-
­­Kindergarten too. His music program is exciting and invites the children to explore
and love the world of music. Clarence often enriches the program with his own
instruments and experiences.
Clarence has now begun a piano program in our center. He is building on a minimal
curriculum and is helping the children gain skills every week, and in each class.
Clarence is able to tailor the program to meet the needs of the children he has in
class. The children love to go and spend time with Mr. Clarence.
I would recommend Clarence for a variety of jobs involving children. He is able to
help them form their own thoughts, and guide them towards needed knowledge.
Clarence is able to use open ended instruction to excite the children and is
supportive in their growth.
Clarence is a hard worker and is able to be flexible when needed, as is sometimes
