Tim Smit directed the new science fiction film "Kill Switch" starring Dan Stevens about a physicist recruited by a power company to work on an energy tower causing anomalies between dimensions. The tower is destroying a mirror Earth called "The Echo" and its inhabitants have their own tower. The physicist is sent to The Echo with a device called the "Redivider" meant to balance power transfer but actually acts as a kill switch that could destroy one world to save the other. A review says while the film's visual effects are impressive for a low budget, the themes could have been more developed and it feels like a game demo that can't be played, though the director's talent remains in technical effects.
