1. At Godrej and Boyce Construction division as a Planning Engineer
a. Creating and Tracking schedules for various projects like Residential
Building (Godrej Platinum), Block Making Plant (Vikhroli), Khalapur Mega
Project (5 Industrial Plants).
b. Creating a Design and Contract Finalization Plan in order to provide a
seamless flow of work which would avoid delays or pressure on the
execution team.
c. Coordinating with various agencies such as procurement, contracts,
liaison, execution and select sub-contractors for Block Plant and Godrej
Platinum residential project.
d. Planning Micro Schedules and tracking them with key sub-contractors
that were critical to project completion.
e. Implementing lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and LBMS
“Location Based Management System”
f. Implementing Last Planner tool of lean construction with execution,
MEP, Design, Quality, Contracts and procurement teams for better
project co-ordination and understand potential delays.
g. Creating a cost plan and a month wise cash flow plan to enable finance
team to better plan their working capital.
h. Implementing earned value management with the available data of the
schedule, actual costs from the ERP and the budget in order to
understand time and cost overruns / underruns and also formulate the S
curve.
i. Preparing Monthly and Weekly reports to convey the progress with
respect to milestones, outlined by the clients, cash flows, and safety and
Quality initiatives.
j. Identifying and implementing NPulse software to automate alerts
between various teams and map progress and costs effectively.
k. Creating a micro plan and tracking the Façade works for Godrej Platinum
project where every sheet was mapped from production to installation.
2. At Coromandel Engineering, Aqualily project, Chengalpattu Chennai as an
Intern
a. Analyzed Formwork Productivity in beams
b. Analyzed Labor Productivity and compared the current form of
payment of wages to an alternative method
c. Analyzed Equipment productivity of 2 batching plants. Their respective
DG’s and Pumps
d. Prepared a bar bending schedule and estimated RCC quantities for a
slab for a residential G+7 structure
