Aim

The aim of this
experiment is to blow
up a balloon using
yeast.
Hypothesis

      • Our Hypothesis

“The yeast mixed with warm water
and sugar will create carbondioxide
and blow up the balloon.”
Equipment
   The equipment we used:
*1 tablespoon of yeast,
*1 teaspoon of sugar,
*1 tablespoon of warm water,
*1 balloon,
*1 small plastic bottle,
*1 small circle of paper
*1 syringe
*1teaspoon
Method
The first step was to draw around the bottom of a
bottle and create a funnel.

We then measured our ingredients and with the help
of a partner we poured the ingredients into our man
made funnel.

Once the ingredients were in the bottle we placed
the balloon over the hole on the top.

We then placed the bottle outside and began our
written work, while keeping an eye on the balloon.
Observations
Conclusion
After leaving the balloon for a day, we found that
the conclusion varied, some projects had worked
better than others for instant some balloons grew but
others didn’t.

I think the balloons may of been bigger if we had
experimented with our measurements. Over all the
experiment was good.
