Digital technologies were used extensively throughout the research, planning, construction, and evaluation stages of creating a documentary. Internet browsers allowed for researching existing documentaries on YouTube and finding supporting articles and statistics. Communication apps facilitated discussion and planning. A Canon HD camera, tripod, and clip-on mic were used for shooting high quality footage. Adobe Premiere Pro was used to edit footage, add transitions, and adjust sound and color levels. Microsoft Word, InDesign, Photoshop, and GarageBand were used to create ancillary texts like a magazine article and radio trailer linking to the documentary. Blogger, Prezi, and other programs helped record and present the process professionally.

He notes that many of the rules and systems that govern modern life were created by other people, not inherently smarter people. Daboczy cites examples like Occulus, which raised $2.5 million on Kickstarter in 2012 and was later acquired by Facebook for $2 billion, and Flippin' Burgers restaurant, which became one of the most hyped restaurants in Europe in under 200 days. 2. Relevant
Experience
where the bulk of my presentation design experience has come from
dda
during my summer internship at the London ad agency dda I spent the bulk of my time
creating keynote cred presentations for clients in industries from travel to entertainment.
I learned to tailor content and experience to the specific user. I would say they taught me
the most about detail oriented designing.
plato’s closet
at Plato’s Closet in Lawrence, KS, I have done various in-store slideshows that tell the
viewers about the unique business plan of the resell store. These are generally updated
yearly by me according to season and show various messages and store events.
design and interactive experience
this was a class at BU that was a very intensive, semester long flash-based interactive
class. In this class a partner and I created a game as a way of informing the user about a
study on gender. This taught me to take into account the user’s experience but equally
important I learned a lot about the importance of timing and distribution when conveying
information in a time-based setting.

all of my web design experience

both front end design and created

sites are solely design concepts.
Designing websites helped me
to have a firmer grasp on a clean
gridded structure and information
organization. It was also my first
basic interaction with user interface.

creating presentation backgrounds

four diverse options that reflected
the tone and color scheme they
had in mind, but that also could
add a dynamic feeling to what
could otherwise be a mundane
pesentation. They ended up chosing

large format paneling
for the 2011 WFX I was responsible
for creating 6 large format awards
panels to be displayed in the “Hub,”
the social center of the trade show.
The panels reflected the same info

large, wall size format. This project,
like the awards booklet, instilled a
strong organizational sense in me
and, due to their high visibility, put
a lot of pressure on them being
correct down to the smallest detail.
