where the bulk of my presentation design experience has come from
dda
during my summer internship at the London ad agency dda I spent the bulk of my time
creating keynote cred presentations for clients in industries from travel to entertainment.
I learned to tailor content and experience to the specific user. I would say they taught me
the most about detail oriented designing.
plato’s closet
at Plato’s Closet in Lawrence, KS, I have done various in-store slideshows that tell the
viewers about the unique business plan of the resell store. These are generally updated
yearly by me according to season and show various messages and store events.
design and interactive experience
this was a class at BU that was a very intensive, semester long flash-based interactive
class. In this class a partner and I created a game as a way of informing the user about a
study on gender. This taught me to take into account the user’s experience but equally
important I learned a lot about the importance of timing and distribution when conveying
information in a time-based setting.
