Engineering involves using science and math to solve problems. It allows for transportation and space exploration, as well as high-paying career options in fields like aerospace, agriculture, and more. However, historically women have been discouraged from and underrepresented in engineering. Now attitudes are changing, but stereotypes still present challenges as only 6% of UK engineers are female. The KEITH QUINES, a group of 14 Moray Academy students, are interested in engineering to pursue related careers and help change perceptions that girls cannot be engineers.
