Keith documents his pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago trail from Palencia to Santiago. Some highlights included seeing wedding cake-like buildings in Palencia, walking through fields of sunflowers, exploring underground buildings in Carrion de los Condes, and attending a street fair in Sahagun. He helped a French couple by leaving his sleeping pad at a distance marker for them to find. Upon reaching Santiago, he was greeted by bagpipers and placed a traditional finishing rock in the cathedral's baptismal font.
20. Later that same day he was pretty sure
he’d seen the Frenchman and his
girlfriend walking through the streets of
the town he was staying in and that she
HAD THE PAD on her pack. He was happy
they’d found it. The next day he sees the
pad leaning against a later marker!
Keith leaves his blue
sleeping pad leaning
against a Camino
distance marker because
he didn’t need it any
longer and was pretty
sure the Frenchman and
his girlfriend were going
to be passing the marker
after him and they were
planning to sleep
outside again that night.
21. This is the now infamous
Harold (remember the cow rant?)
and he took this () pic of

43. It’s traditional to
place a rock at a
site near the end
of the Casino that
Keith missed. So
he put his in a
baptismal font in
the cathedral at
Santiago.
